Karate Performance Review

Is your training actually helping you become a better Karate athlete?

The Karate Performance Review is a 45-minute 1-to-1 video consultation designed to give you an objective look at your current training and help you understand whether what you're doing is actually moving you towards your Karate goals.

Before your Review, you'll complete a detailed questionnaire covering your Karate training, S&C, weekly schedule, goals, recovery and any current limitations. This allows me to understand your training before we meet, so we can use our time together effectively.

During your Review, we'll look at:

  • Your current Karate and S&C training

  • How your training is structured across the week

  • The drills and exercises you're currently using

  • Training volume, intensity and recovery

  • Whether your training is aligned with your goals

  • What is working well

  • Where there may be opportunities to improve

I'll then use everything we've discussed to create your personalised Performance Review Report.

Your personalised report

After our session, you'll receive a clear report outlining:

✓ What's working well
The elements of your current training that are helping you progress and should be maintained.

✓ Your key areas to improve
Where changes could help you get more from your training.

✓ Your training priorities
The physical qualities and areas of training you should focus on to support your Karate goals.

✓ Recommended weekly structure
How I'd suggest organising your training to help your Karate, S&C and recovery work together effectively.

✓ Practical recommendations
Specific changes, exercises or drills you can implement into your training.

The aim isn't simply to give you more training.

It's to help you make sure the training you're already doing is working for you, not against you.

What you'll leave with

By the end of your Performance Review, you'll have a much clearer understanding of:

What you're doing → Why you're doing it → What you could change → What to prioritise next.

If you're putting time and effort into your Karate, make sure that effort is taking you in the right direction.
